Face to Face Art Exhibit: When: Feb. 8th through Mar. 30th. Where: Sherman Co. Public/School Library in Moro. - 2/8 through 3/30

Mid Columbia Juried Art Exhibit: The Dalles Art Center sponsors this event for local Middle School and H.S. Students. The exhibit will run 2/5/13 through 3/2/13. Entries will be accepted 1/29 through 2/2. Only one entry per student will be accepted. Students must reside and attend a local mid Columbia school. Entries must be the students own work. Flat work must be neatly presented and "hook" ready. All sculptures and 3-D art must be able to be displayed on a pedestal. Entry forms can be found at The Dalles Art Center, any local Middle/High School, or online at http://www.thedallesartcenter.org. A closing reception will take place at TDAC (220 East 4th St., The Dalles) on Saturday, March 2nd from 2PM-4PM. Cash awards will be presented for best of show, judges' choice and people's choice. TDWHS Musical: Students perform "Mame", Jerry Herman’s Tony Award - winning musical. The musical tells the story of the madcap life of Mame Dennis, a fun-loving, wealthy eccentric with a flair for life and a razor sharp wit.  Her life takes a sudden change when her 10 year old nephew Patrick is entrusted to her care.  She introduces him to her freewheeling bohemian life which is derailed by the stock market crash.  After disastrous attempts at work, she is saved by wealthy Southern plantation owner Beauregard Jackson Pickett Burnside, is widowed but perseveres with her sense of humor and immense sense of style. Performances run March 15-17 and 22-24 at the school auditorium. Doors open at 7PM. Performance starts at 7:30PM. Lysistrata Auditions: Both big and small parts are available for this ancient Greek comedy directed by Richard Parker.
