Sherman Solar Loan Program: Sherman County offers a loan program to promote the development of solar electric and hot water systems for homes within it's county. The county provides no-interest short term loans to residents to Pacific Power and Wasco Electric customers. Stevenson First to Have EV Station in Gorge: The electric vehicle charging station is located along the waterfront at Teo Park. The station accepts a ChargePass, RFID-based Smart Card, a contact-less credit card, or by calling the toll-free number printed on the front of the charging station. It is a Level 2/Level I charger. There is a $1.00 access fee; electric charge is free otherwise. This is a Coulomb station, which is part of the ChargePoint network. - 3/15

The Dalles Community Garden: Cascade Accupuncture will be moving to a new location at 1712 E. 12th Street, in The Dalles, on Monday, April 25th. We have put in a retaining wall and patio, with a picnic table, into the yard on the south side of the building for our Community Garden! 11 plots, approx. 4'x6', will be ready to be leased and planted by April 26th.
