Sherman Solar Loan Program: Sherman County offers a loan program to promote the development of solar electric and hot water systems for homes within it's county. Green Drinks Event: Hosted by the Port of Cascade Locks and the Green Living Journal. This event will focus on Oregon solar industry trends and our state's electric vehicle market. Food and beverages will be available from the Portland Spirit, Full Sail Brewery and Canyon and Columbia Gorge Winery. When: Tuesday, June 12th from 6-7:30PM. Stevenson First to Have EV Station in Gorge: The electric vehicle charging station is located along the waterfront at Teo Park. The station accepts a ChargePass, RFID-based Smart Card, a contact-less credit card, or by calling the toll-free number printed on the front of the charging station. It is a Level 2/Level I charger. There is a $1.00 access fee; electric charge is free otherwise. This is a Coulomb station, which is part of the ChargePoint network. - 3/15

The Dalles Community Garden: Cascade Accupuncture will be moving to a new location at 1712 E. 12th Street, in The Dalles, on Monday, April 25th. We have put in a retaining wall and patio, with a picnic table, into the yard on the south side of the building for our Community Garden! 11 plots, approx. 4'x6', will be ready to be leased and planted by April 26th.
